dislocation/dislocation/relocation

This series is comprised of three audiovisual pieces. The first piece, Dislocation of Malpositioned Static Images (excerpt, full length 7:51), began as a sound composition with video then composed for it.

The second piece, Dislocation of Annular Systemic Formations (excerpt, full length 7:18), followed a reciprocal process (video first, then sound).

In the third piece, Relocation of Significant Structural Damage (excerpt, full length 8:11), Max/MSP/Jitter was used to facilitate a collaborative process in which sonic elements controlled visual elements and vice versa. The source material from the first two pieces was reworked to produce this piece.
